Clare!
What beautiful pictures! You need to scrap this one!
My sister spent 3 weeks a few summers ago scanning pics and burning CDs for all of us. It's one of the best presents I have ever gotten!
I love the old pics!

I just love all the pictures! The one of you crouching down is so sweet! And the one of Great-Aunt Nellie arriving by plane is wonderful! She looks like a celebrity arriving, and what a slice of life for the times. How things have changed since then with all the security etc. All the pics are delightful

Patty is right (and thank you darl for the offer!) - some could do with a bit of tinkering to clean up the images. Both the HP program I'm using and the ULead My Scrabook software are good for this.
When I first started scanning them I tried to "fix" each one then realised I would never be done with this job. Instead I'm just scanning and will go back later and adjust the ones I want to use. Already many are showing signs of deterioration & I'm scanning as fast as I can! LOL

Is the water REALLY that blue???
WOW!!!
What neat pictures.
DD inherited all of my mom and dad's this year.....so many people that we have no idea who they are.
But they will be so fun to scrap...some of them are the ones that Jennifer used in her "Who am I" mini books she has over on 2Peas, and also the ones DD used in Jen's Christmas gift. Maybe we can convince her to post it. Amber did such a SUPER job---she is SO talented...and I'm not bragging just because I'm her mom.

Keep digging through them Clare and Gale, there will be an end to them----eventually.

Those photographs are absolutely gorgeous Clare! How fun you must have looking through these. The quality is just amazing! I would have such a difficult time deciding how to scrap them! You've hit the jackpot, they are a treasure!
